Price on beta????

are u guys kidding with the beta price??? 100$ for a game i dont even know its working/like or even wanna invest time in too, and the joke price for and alpha gotta be the 225$ tag for the same stuff and allows phase 2 ?

    1. Intrepid Studios is a fairly new indie company. They do not have deep pockets like EA. The money needs to come from somewhere. If you want the game to be good, you need to be willing to back the project. It is not for everyone. If it is too much for you, just wait for the game to release and try your luck then.

    2. In the grand scope of the design of modern MMOs, they have an astronomically low budget to work with and are doing a great job with what they have accomplished so far. For argument purposes, the $100, or even $225, you spend on getting into the beta/alpha is far less than what you will spend on your free to play, pay to win trash that exists on the market today.

    IS told that crowdfunding is over, so those A and B sales are not for backing up the development.  So, topic starter is right about weird pricing.

    KS backers had months of subscription included, this sale has neither date of start, nor length.. actually nothing justifying the price.

    yea well still a high price for a beta when Theres gonna be sub aswell when the game launch.

    The packages are not just for a alpha and beta keys. There are several other items in these packages, some are exclusive collectible items.





    Different packages may be offered in future.

    Moderator, why didn't you CAPS COPY/PASTE $40 pack, containing and defining the price of "other items" in those big packs? Which defines price of included A2+ and B2+ keys.

    The OP was not about the $40 pack. It was specifically about the $100 and $225 packs. Any inference of the key prices from the listed packages is fair but not necessarily accurate.

    Ofcourse  he writes only about  first 2. The third one is only interesting for those, who already have A/B access. And first 2 packages include this third one.

    So, crowdfunding is over (as stated by IS). Price of 4 items is given in "3rd" pack. A and B keys price is precisely calculated from above(and it can't be called "backing the development").

    This is what OP writes about, price is given for  the unknown ware, and he thinks it's too high.
