  • Great show again really has got me thinking about the political side of things.

One question that came to mind when you were talking about gold possibly having weight, could there be other rarer items used as currency. This will hark back to my D&D days but will there just be gold coins, what about platinum coins or some other precious metal, could gems be used as currency for carrying larger sums of wealth. Personally I would like to see gems be worth something in game rather than just an object used in crafting that really isn't worth anything.

Again great show, looking forward to next week not long til alpha0 now.
  • You know @varkun that reminds of Guild Wars 1 when there was a gold cap and Ectos became the go to currency. It would be neat if the gamers decided on a commodity other then gold that would have a nice market value that was easier to transport.

Or RuneScapes gold cap, people used Spirit Shards as currency because their market price never fluctuated.

I did play GW1 yes they were used as a form of currency.

Be interesting to see if such happens with AOC if gold does have weight and large amounts of gold can not be transported easily, just theory atm though.
