Crafting your own bow

If I equip my own crafted bow should the dial point system allow me to adjust my weapons traits on the fly? Chance to break my bow of course.

IMO no, once it is made it is made. if you want a bow with different traits/stats, make a new bow.

Static or dynamic crafting in a sense ?
I could go with the sacrificing power for versatility aspect.
But that would require multipurpose bows...if you can envisage such a thing.
I am having trouble with such a concept myself.
So I am inclined to stick with the specialist tuned bow to go with a specialist tuned build.

Even overcharging (reward) at the 'risk' of bow destruction becomes irrelevant if you have 100 bows. Theres a risk....but not really.

Make some nice tech stuff now days.
Still drool over a hand crafted one off work of art though in a non mechanical style.
Not much heart and soul put into making a unique bow these days.
Mass production vs tailor made kills any kind of character attributes.

Not sure if such mechanical weapons would or would not fit in ashes so never thought about that.

Carry more then one weapon.   Traits may be enhancements added to the crafted bow when being made but a bow is not crafted on the fly or in the middle of battle.

Well it could work in a way that weapons have jewel slots and entering different jewels changes it's traits but really that would be too convenient once something is made it should for the most part stay that way with a few upgrades avalible down the line.

I don't think adjustments should be made on the fly, it's a logistical nightmare. You either go into combat with the weapons you want or you constant swap your backbar.
