Private Dungeons? and Holy Trinity?

Regards
I am new to the community and wanted to know about the game, I know that the game has not yet been developed strongly, but I wanted to know since the game would be developed in an open world would there be a possibility that there were closed dungeons?
(There will be dungeons where you can only enter with a group) that at least would be the biggest incentive to finish liking the game, along with that of the holy trinity (Tank, Healer and Dps)

I'm sorry if I do not understand myself well I used the Google translator, my English is not so good as to express everything I wanted to do.

  • I'd like to see the holy trinity as well, I've always liked that type of gameplay. Having dedicated tanks, healers and damage dealers. As for instance dungeons/raids I'm not opposed to that either.
  • I'd rather see them get away from the concept that DPS/damage dealer is part of the trinity and go back to a heavier focus on support/CC types, personally.
The DPS arms race has all but destroyed strategic combat and eliminated any type of supporting roles and class identity.
  • Maybe you should ask this question in the developers blog :) Since we can only really discuss right now.

But I'd say a mix of public and private (open/closed) dungeons would be nice, kinda like its handled in ESO. You can do the much easier public dungeon, mostly with a massive amount of people, or you can do a normal closed dungeon with a group of 5 (I think, maybe 4 :)).

While we are on this subject: I'd really like to see some dungeons that require a certain item, questline, puzzle or the like to get into. Example: One guy tells you he knows a place with a lot of strong monster/enemies, but to get you there he'll need a rare coin (or the like), so you gotta get him the coin for him to let you in.

I never really like the style where you just valse into a dungeon chop some heads of and leave, it just seems wierd that theres a bunch of dungeons in the world, that everyone knows about.

I like your proposal. This option do to the game more ambientation and inmersion. Very Good...
  • That os a really good idea. I would like that happens un the future
  • I like having both contested and instance dungeons. Variety is good which is a big reason this game has my interest. According to Captain Obvious, dynamic dungeon and raid bosses are desired by all. The era of tank n spank needs to die (unless it's the occasional brute force fight, those are fun and make for great gate keeping type encounters)

As far as the holy trinity goes, I love the trinity but it's a tricky thing when balancing for both PVE and PVP. Heavy sustained healing is great for PVE but not so great for PVP imo. Maybe a combination of medium healer heals and self consumed healing potions would strike a good balance?

Depending on how the class system works, different minor selfhealing abilities could also be included. Like in ESO where the stealthy guys (cant remember the name) get vampiric blade or something for a bit of healing. Basicly giving non healers a bit more than just pots :) But in general I also like the more loose feel, although still semi-trinity like :)

I would gladly like to see them implement this idea. Would be refreshing to see some new ways/kinda dungeons instead of same old get in grind them all kinda dungeons. Also what i would love to see is they kinda introduce some uber dungeons which is obviously hard but also has some kinda unique/legendary high level equipments/crafting materials, that can be only done once a day by players. like give them 3 attempts to get in but can only be completed once, once done those players may not enter again for the day even if they have any attempts left.
  • +1 to holy trinity! Also as someone above me said, bringing back support classes would be a cool idea as well. Public and open world dungeons is another great feature to bring back.

[/quote]So...in other words raids and something like wows mythic dungeons, is what your asking then? I'm all for it but I would like their to be some sort of trinity like system where people can spec into a tank/healing/dps role more so. It doesn't have to be exactly like the trinity system though, i'm able to adapt to newer systems. Just allow me to spec into a role I favor the most (i.e. tanking) is all I would ask for.
  • I vote Quadrinity? ehh.. 4 roles !

Four? Yup , fourth being the Crowd Control role. Actually you can make it CC/Support to be more specific , be it through CC or buffing or even debuffing and or any variation.
