Hey everyone! As you know, our Kickstarter was recently successfully funded (THANK YOU, OMG!). We want to keep the momentum going and give people a chance to connect with us during the rest of the campaign, so we're running a regular livestream show. Please join us and participate by asking questions and telling your friends.

<strong>Kickstarter Livestream Schedule</strong>

<ul>
<li>Mondays 3 PM PDT*</li>
<li>Wednesdays 3 PM PDT*</li>
<li>Fridays 3 PM PDT*</li>
</ul>

<a href="https://www.twitch.tv/ashesofcreation" target="_blank">Official Ashes of Creation Twitch Channel </a> (please <3 us)

To help make it easier to answer questions, we'll post up a forum thread the day before the stream to collect some questions. We'll post the link here so you guys can check it out.

During our streams we'll also bring on special guests and try to show off new things regarding the game, Kickstarter, stretch goals, and more.

  • Awesome stuff, cant wait to see it. Really great to see devs being so transparent with their development.
  • Hopefully I can make them, I really enjoy livestreams
  • Hey Guys i'm New here so first want to say hi. Next thing i'm a backer woop. Now onto the topic. I'm from the UK and I really would like to watch the Live streams the times are a little late for me well at least the ones during the work nights. My question is do you have any plans on saving the recordings either on the forums or twitch for people to view later? I know you can't please everyone and i appreciate its still early days and just a thought. anyway cheers for now and looking forward to the updates to come.

    Normally someone records then, whether it's Intrepid for Youtube or someone else from the community. Head over to discord and there is a ashes_media section where they are posted.
  • It's kinda late for EU folks. Personally stream starts at 01:00 my time and i usually sleep few hours before that :P Would really appreciate it if you guys do the streams 1 or 2 hour earlier. Thank you!
  • @Authorize You sir are a star thanks for the info i will check that out
  • Thank you !!!! <3 <3 <3 <3
  • Any chance you will record the streams so we can watch them later? It would be nice because I take my kids to the Y and I am not home until 8pm ET and gone before 6pm ET.

    Seems like they are saving them on twitch now for future viewing. I'm watching it right now

    And on YouTube as well :)
  • Hey all, here's the link to post your questions for Friday's livestream: <a href="https://www.reddit.com/r/AshesofCreation/comments/698xda/official_livestream_qa_question_thread_friday_may/" target="_blank">https://www.reddit.com/r/AshesofCreation/comments/698xda/official_livestream_qa_question_thread_friday_may/</a>
  • Unfortunately, I'm in CST, and it's 5pm for me, which happens to be 30 mins before my night class :( But I'm glad you guys are recording them and putting them on YouTube so I can watch them after class :D makes it so much easier for me. Also, I think the live stream helped because we are at 6,608 backers which means we get Kittens and Puppies! :D
  • I think that three times a week is a bit much. Are you really going to have new stuff to say every other day? After a couple of weeks I doubt it.

    Honestly watching DEV streams once a week is already boring some weeks. (games other than AoC)

    I think that is actually probably helping them because they are showing the content and they have guests asking questions during the twitch streams. But after the Kickstarter is completed, i don't expect them to have as many streams. I think they will focus on meeting timing and developing features in the game!

    But just finished watching the friday video and the game looks beautiful. Did wish they showed some of the various systems(like inventory) or maybe that is to come.

    Ahhh makes sense. Three streams per week just during the kickstarter, while afterwards probably not doing them at all or less often. Excited for the game!
  • Updated format: live stream questions will now be taken off the forums until further notice.
  • We're collecting questions for tomorrow's livestream (May 10th) here: <a href="https://www.ashesofcreation.com/forums/topic/official-livestream-qa-question-thread-may-10-2017/" target="_blank">https://www.ashesofcreation.com/forums/topic/official-livestream-qa-question-thread-may-10-2017/</a>
  • The streams are becoming harder to justify the time to watch because they are repeating the same information. Jeff looked confused at one point because the node question came up and has previously been dissected in several media outlets prior to today. I understand there are new backers daily but the majority in the twitch chat had no new information in terms of questions answered. This isn't in reaction to MJ, as previous interviewers have done this. It acts to De-hype the weekly videos. Can we get a solution to this? Maybe pre screened questions to not review something given in three separate videos?

    Thanks for hearing this out!

    I would agree with Draedin, there is some new questions and takes but alot of it is repeating also. I know in the discord there is a questions and answer channel but maybe develop a in depth FAQ on the main website. Then you can direct everyone to it so new backers, websites, and streamers can just go through it. It won't eliminate all redundant questions but it should help. Right now the FAQ is a little weak in detail.
  • I would like to know things like What is the Level Cap going to be? Are they going to progress it as time goes on? How many Characters are we going to be allowed to have per server? Will there be an option of a shared bank with the character that we have on the same shard? Will We have the options of creating private channels within the chat in the game?
  • Where's our question thread for mondays stream? : sandal : something's missing here :)
  • Hi all! Just a friendly reminder that next week our forma will be a bit different. Instead of Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, as per usual, we will only have a Tuesday and Thursday stream. However, the times will be the same: 3 PM PDT / 6 PM EDT / 10 PM UTC. The reason for this is the US has a holiday on Monday and the Kickstarter will be over by Friday afternoon.

    Thanks for your understanding!

    Additionally, AFTER next week, we will switch to a once every other week stream. However, we are still discussing times/days for this.
  • This is really exciting. I see a few people asking if you can save the twitch streams, for later view, due to their schedule. Would it be an issue if I record the streams myself and have them posted to my YouTube channel? I can see how it would be a little time-consuming to have them available for those who can't tune in. I would love to help the community here as much as possible. This is a project with a team and community unlike any other I've seen in maybe a decade. I want to see this thrive higher than imaginable. Anything I can do to help; I would love to do.
