Post not showing up

I made a post about 2 hours ago and it said it needed to be approved by a mod before it would show up. I find that a bit strange and time consuming for one thing, but I don't yet see my post up. Is there some other process or what am I supposed to do?

    It was flagged by our spam filter. I will go resolve it.

    This issue was a rapid succession of updates made to the post so it flagged the sensor.

    Thanks but I just posted a comment and went to make an edit to it and it's now gone. Is there a way I can be approved or something so all my comments and posts don't disappear? It makes it hard to have a discussion.
