letting Players make the stories
I think it is a great move from Intrepid to let players craft the stories in their own course, the outcome of the players interacting with the nodes will be very diverse, and it is our responsibility as players to role play as much as possible.

Basically just means rarely talking about real world events.
In static themeparks, where buildings are already built and everyone repeats the exact same quests, there really isn't much point in discussing what's happening in the world because everyone has pretty much had the exact same experiences.
We've all killed the same mobs, escorted the same NPCs and fetched the same items.
In Ashes, we are much more likely to discuss current in-game events and politics and plans and hopes. Playing our various roles.
We might also discuss some real world topics - especially game updates and or live streams.
But, I expect everyone will inherently RP as they explain to other players what they've experienced, what they plan to do and why.
