About US
Black Star Renegades is a newly established community for Ashes of Creation, looking for like-minded individuals to grow our ranks. However, the guild has it's roots in previous mmorpgs such as Black Desert (PC and Console) and FF14, and various other mmos. With that experience, we'll be able to hit the ground running.

You decide how you play

• A newly created community that just opened up its doors to welcome in members. It is being founded on the basis of player freedom.
• Community members, in whatever game is being played, should be allowed to play the game as they see fit. The community itself serves as a home in which you can just sit back and relax with your other fellow community members.

All-Inclusive, LGBT+ friendly home

• One of Black Star's primary goals as a community is to be a place where it's members are willing to call home.
• Zero-tolerance in place for the community towards transphobic, racist, sexist, xenophobic and any other sort of hateful rhetoric.

No-Pressure Environment

• Members will not be forced to conform to any particular playstyle.
• No activity and class requirements, now and ever. Doesn't matter if you can devote an hour here and there or are able treat the game as a second job, all are welcome to join.
• As long as you're enjoying your time ingame and being a positive member of the community, the community will be glad to have you.

Quality over Quantity

• There is no target size for the community. There's the idea for settling as a small/medium sized community, but further growth is possible if that ends up happening
• Instead of going for numbers, the goal of the Black Star community is to foster a sense of cohesion within it's members. A tight, close-knit family.

Plans
A. Base of Operations
The first step in achieving our main goal is in establishing ourselves either on an island or coastal node and developing it to our liking. In addition to learning the game's systems, the various playtests leading to eventual launch will also be spent scouting for a potential base of operations. Our base of operations would have to be decided upon in advance of launch, ideally sometime during the final beta.

B. Shipwright Expertise
As mentioned above, making our name via ship-related goods is a part of our success on the high seas. As such, guild-wide decisions will be made in such a manner that will work towards this goal. This includes decisions supporting all three artisan paths: Gathering, Processing, Crafting.
A major portion of our guild's wealth will be gained by the actions of our artisan's and their ability to win over their share of the various markets

C. High Seas Bounty Hunters
The more blood-thirsty folks within the guild will have free-reign to wreak havoc on any who dare cross their path. While generally discouraged on land, anyone who doesn't carry our guild's flag or that of our allies is fair game while out at sea.
