    The combat pets are like a cut off part of the player's character in terms of power. If I made a Cleric that was more DPS oriented, using gear and augments, would my pet also be more DPS oriented or could I somehow make my pet more TANK oriented?

    Will the ''Narrative'' quests (presumably main story quests) take us all 'around' Verra or be specific to a node with each one having its own version of the story? (beside quests that are unlocked after an alliance is formed- which apparently do allow inter-node questing)

    Can you go into detail about the loot rules, specifically why there is no just Free-for-all looting and how Need before Greed will work if any class can use any weapon and any armor?

    Since the tulnar has lived in the underrealm for a long time, from a lore perspective it would make sense that there are already built cities in the underrealm at the start of the game. But from a gameplay perspective this doesn't make sense. How do you plan on solving this?

    Are there any chances in the future of adding ways that the players of different nodes can wage indirect war against each other, based on the type of node they belong to?

    For example, a military node being able to send raiding parties to an adjacent node, an economic node being able to disrupt trade and services of an adjacent node, or even a divine node converting the NPCs of an adjacent node?

    Hi! Thanks for doing these Q and A's.

    My question is about ranked arenas and specifically, what the goal is for them. As a competitive player, its nice to take a break from the chaos of open world PVP every once in awhile and engage in something with fewer variables.

    Will there be any kind of gear normalization? Stat normalization? If not, are there any plans for ranked arenas other then to pit X number versus X number.

    With the monthly cosmetics, we have seen Freehold skins and Freehold "Building" skins. Can the "building" skin be applied to any building or only certain types of buildings?

    As an avid MMO/PVP player I’m curious to know what implications will be set in place for balancing. Most MMO’s struggle to set proper balancing creating an unfair and “meta” type of experience. In which most players will only play the classes that are the most overpowered. What will you do to alleviate this?

    Will citizens or mayors be able to know details such as a list of new citizens in their nodes, citizens that left the node or who participates in elections?

    When the world has obtained all 5 metropolis nodes and I have killed the legendary world bosses, will I be "done" with end game PvE in the sense that I have defeated the hardest PvE content and will it be possible to have these legendary world bosses on farm?

    I really am looking forward to this game, thank you for making it!

    How many players could 30 people in a guild (or the max guild membership limit without speccing into more) that's focused in all passive combat skills be able to fight on equal terms? i.e. how strong will the passive buffs that guilds can spec into rather than additional membership limit be?

    On the topic of Customization and cosmetics. What system is Ashes going with for Dyeing? Is there going to be multiple slots to put different dyes into it, will there only be a few slots or one slot? How will dyeing operate in the game?

    On the topic of the mentorship, you've said that certain node buildings and organizations will offer quests, such as dungeon runs or escorts. Any chance that there would be a way for player-run taverns to also offer mentorship quests? With the idea that taverns who choose to provide this offering could become social hubs and havens for mentors and mentees to gather?

    Will PvP be allowed to happen in towns and cities or will there be mechanics to prevent it such as guards attacking anyone who flags as a combatant?

    on the wiki on transmog it says - Gear will have appearance slots (Transmutation/Transmog/cosmetic slots) that are used to copy the appearance of an item (in some cases), could you clarify what "in some cases" means?

    My other question was about bulkier armor and larger weapons, i know you dont want some giant swords and oversized shoulderpads like wow for example, can we still expect some bulkier/larger armor like a medieval version of a juggernaut and some larger swords like zweihanders

    In the world pvp do you have some kind of mechanic to stop people from jumping infront of your attack towards something else and forcing you to either get killed or become corrupted

    It has been said that smaller guilds will have access to more numerous guild passive skills/augments than larger guilds. If a guild reduces in population, can they rebalance their guild skill point allocation, to access those previously unavailable benefits, or are they locked at their current guild progression?

    Summoners summons will be different in appereance like a summoner/rogue summons shadows or a summoner/ranger summons different animals? Or all summoners as primary class will have the same appereance?
