    This quote from the wiki might refer to climate changes but my question is:

    Roughly what phase of alpha will we see the augment system start to be fleshed out into a playable state?

    I have a full guild of pirates and we would really like more insight on mariner based skills.

    Could you give us an update on the mariner skills and talk about how levelling each mariner skill would impact/improve the performance of your ship for us pirates?

    Can you give any details on how guild freeholds work, and what relation if any they have to regular player freeholds?

    It was really exciting to see environments being designed with aquatic gameplay in mind during the last development update! Do you have any updates to how technology will enable/limit sailing gameplay? Obviously not expecting Sea of Thieves-level of wind/water physics!

    If a node advances to stage 4 during the 21-day protection period granted to a node when it advances to stage 3, does the protection period stay in place or is there some form of XP gain lock-out period until a Mayor is elected thus preventing advancement above Stage 3 for that period?

    Will the freehold cosmetic be able to be applied to any building, or just specific building types?

    Will classes that are a combination of magic + martial or martial + magic archtypes have to build both magical and physical stats? Wouldnt this hurt them in the balance department by spreading their stat pool too thin?

    Back in 2017 you had yet to decide on the use of API and how extensive you would like to make information available. Have you come any closer in regards to what you will allow players to extract, if anything?

    Regarding Artisian skills Taming is found under Gathering and Animal Husbandry is under Processing. Do this mean you can ONLY have/ use one of them. So you Will be dependent om someone else to capture / Tame new animals for you to breed and wise verca?

    Will each resource be a separate tier for artisans, or will there be multiple resources per tier for each artisan branch?
  • What will you have for people that like to get achievements and collect things? WoW has things like battle pets, cosmetic armor and weapon appearances, and mounts to collect, that are usable across different characters on your account. What will Ashes have to collect?

    What will you have for people that like to go everywhere, do everything, and complete everything? Completionists & achievers. Will you have a formal achievement or trophy system that rewards people for reaching a certain level, accumulating X amount of wealth, defeating a boss encounter a certain way, etc.?

    Will there be collision control between Players in Ashes of Creation.

    For example would it be possible to form a line of tanks to block certain floors in a castle, where you dont just run through like in other mmorpgs and where you actually have to kill the tanks or break the line to pass through this defenseline? To add a tactical component.

    Will there be casual content which is aimed at people partying up in the world rather than everything being solo content?

    It seems like the node system will be heavily dominated by the largest guilds and world PvP events will be 'Large Guild A vs. Large Guild B'. How will the core game design cater to the more casual player who are still interested in participating in all aspects of the game but don't have the hours to be involved with a hardcore guild. Based on what I have seen so far, it seems like we will be at the mercy of the largest guilds.
  • What is y'alls thought on customized NPCs? Something the players can develop alongside their own character. A unique NPC to that they have built, nurtured, and loved.

  • What is the benefit of dual wielding vs 2 handed weapons and how will the repair cost justify it?

    When buying Cosmetic Packs it is always kinda confusing as to what type of Building the Building Cosmetic is applicable for. When are you planning to make that more transparent?

    Previously you guys said there will be regular content updates. Will this take form of adding quests/npc's/dungeons into the existing world? Or will they be in the form of new explorable land masses?

    With Node sieges having the ability to affect so many people within their own ZOI or further, what is the current plan regarding duration of the siege, will these be single day or multi day events?

  • Can we get a community event to write a backstory for the name Tank?

    I was thinking about a backstory regarding the greatest warrior under Ran'Kal noticed that some plate armor he looted from enemies made different sounds based on the weapons that hit it. The swords went TANK, the clubs went TONK, the arrows went TINK, rocks went TENK, and dead bodies made a TUNK sound.

    This orc wasn't the brightest, and decided to name the armor TANKTONKTINKTENKTUNK armor. After a few years, other orcs grew tired of referring to the armor with so many words and syllables, and began to shorten the name. TANKTONKTINKTENKTUNK became TANKTONKTINK, then TANKTONK, until finally just TANK remained, becoming a staple name in Verra as people also likened the armor's strength to a reliable Tankard of ale.

    Hello,

    you will be able to breed the animals (Pets and Mounts). Will the offspring then come into the world or do you have to raise them first? I would find the latter better than if they were born directly adult.

    And what about catching the individual animals?

    man wird ja die Tiere (Pets und Mounts) ja züchten können. Kommt der Nachwuchs dann Erwachsen auf die Welt oder muss man diese erst groß ziehen? Letzteres würde ich besser finden, als wenn diese direkt erwachsen auf die Welt kommen.

    Und wie sieht es eigentlich mit dem fangen der einzelnen Tiere aus?

    When a guild reaches a certain level, its guild master is granted a guild freehold certificate to enable placement of a guild hall.[39]
