Help for new starters

Hi Intrepid,
Would it be possible to have the following links pinned near the top of Support & FAQ section:
https://ashesofcreation.wiki
https://www.ashes101.com/
https://asheshq.com/
(any others?)

My intention is that members have a clear option to educate themselves before posting. So often the best answer to a new members post is just to reply with a specific link to one or more of the above.

You might need some kind of disclaimer along the lines of:
"Many community members find these third party sites informative. However, these sites are generated by community members and therefore Intrepid Studios cannot guarantee that the content is factual or appropriate."

    Good idea!

It could also be placed inside the "Need Help or Have a Question? Check Here First!" Thread.

Thank you for the support. So often I see a new member turn up full of enthusiasm that they can change the game to fit their ideas, make a flurry of posts and then get frustrated with the responses. Learning what already is (and isn't) stated to be part of the game would help new members integrate with the community without getting flamed by existing members. Some people will always post dumb stuff, but at least then they had the option to not get so heavily rejected.

I think it would be nice to have a collection of trusty links, they definitely could add a thread like that, but only with the disclaimer mentioned above. I would love an official wiki, or just some authorization on the information found on the https://ashesofcreation.wiki site. I know it's a ton of work but it is a really useful tool and could become even more important when the game is actually live.

I started at reading the wiki, and only now wandered around the forums, but you gotta admit that there is a lot of information out there, and some people are not commiting to read that much, but want to be part of the community.

But generally I agree, that if someone is making suggestions than he has to be up to date on the topic.

I'll pass this suggestion on and go ahead and close this thread. Thanks!

Hey folks, quick update on that front. As all of those sources are purely community-run, they won't get added to an official Intrepid posting for the time being. We appreciate your feedback!
