Once a small band of heretical shamans driven from their home settlement after a spate of kidnappings, the Seers of the Blackroot have since been continuing their bloody practice among the gnarled trunks and groves of the deep forests. Living in relative secrecy, they have slowly regained their strength and shall one day pour forth from the woods like ravenous rodents, seeking to sacrifice any and all to sate the dark forces they worship.

The Seers of the Blackroot cosmetic add-ons will be available in the Ashes of Creation shop from August 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific until September 1, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific. The Frayed Visage

Accessory Cosmetic Skin *

One of several ritual foci used by the woodland shamans, this mask is fashioned in the sinister image of the spirits they pray to. It is said that some certain persons who have donned the veil see a strange reflection of their own world, but one bereft of color and warmth. Though dangerous, the mask is unmistakably potent, as it aids in channeling debilitating sorceries to be turned upon the bearer's enemies.

Wretched Rafflesia

Pet Cosmetic Skin *

A foul and ravenous spirit has been bound to the form of this stinking flower. Now its petals and vines violently lash out, yearning to feed. While menacing, this being's power pales in comparison to the other souls the shamans wish to bend to their will. This creature is merely a stepping stone to even more fearsome servants.

Grave Beast

Mount Cosmetic Skin *

Though somewhat animalistic in gait, this creature is rather an amalgamation of rotted wood and darkened soil. Without their own beasts of burden, the shamans had to turn to more unorthodox methods, and thus this hulking mass was born of their rituals. Seemingly docile in the presence of its master, it too is possessed of the same bloodlust, and will attempt to slake that thirst should it be alone without its rider.

Felbark Berserker

Costume Cosmetic Skin *

Shorn from the gnarled and tainted trees of their surroundings, the shamans have succeeded in creating a powerful form of protection with the aid of their dark magics. Unnaturally hard, this armor turns blades and is pervaded by an aura that seems to drain the very light around it. Warriors clad in this assemblage appear to take the silhouette of some condemned woodland specter, and the bark creaks and shrieks as the wearer strides forth, ever eager to claim more heads.

The Casket

Caravan Cosmetic Skin *

Among the effects that the shamans fled with during their exile was this rickety carriage. Now swollen with moss and seemingly ready to collapse, it creaks and bends, yet it never breaks. Able to convey ritualists or victims from one site to another, it stands ever ready to efficiently perform its task. The fact that the beast that draws it requires neither rest nor sustenance is a critical benefit in its operation.

Freehold Large House Building Cosmetic Skin *

Deep in the bowels of the twisted woods lies this formidable temple of the dark arts. Various sacrificial rites take place within the damned bastion, and not even the cries of the misfortuned escape its walls. It is here that the most vile of shamans lead their people, and it is only a matter of time until they decide to take a bolder approach with their schemes.

How long will the Adventurer Pre-order Package be available?

• The Adventurer Pre-order Package will be available for purchase from May 5, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific until August 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific. (Note that the Zenith's Advent cosmetic items within the package will swap over on August 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific to the Seers of the Blackroot cosmetic items, until the package is removed on August 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific.)

If I purchase the Adventurer Pre-order Package, when can I participate in Alpha One testing?

• The Adventurer Pre-order Package includes access to both NDA and non-NDA Alpha One testing. Testing periods may be delayed or suspended, and do not represent the final game. Do not purchase Alpha One access if you are looking to play a finished game - testing will require your feedback and patience. Testers with the Adventurer Pre-Order Package can join in our NDA spot testing, as well as our non-NDA Alpha One Preview and testing. As Adventurer Pre-Order Package owners will have access to Alpha One, Alpha Two, Beta One, and Beta Two, stay tuned to our helpful knowledge base article here for more details on future test dates!

Will there be a limited number of Adventurer Pre-order Packages available?

• We have not announced any plans to limit the quantity of available Adventurer Pre-order Packages. However, keep in mind that the Adventurer Pre-order Package will only be available for purchase until August 13, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. Pacific.

If I already own a Pre-order Package, how can I get access to Alpha One?

• If you already own a Wayfarer, Expeditionary, Voyager, or Voyager Plus Pre-order Package, you will see upgrade options in the shop when you are logged in. This will allow you to purchase the Adventurer Pre-order Package (which includes Alpha One access) for the difference in price.

If I’m a Kickstarter or summer campaign backer, how can I get access to Alpha One?

• If you are a Braver of Worlds, Leader of Men, Royalty, Hero of the People, or Avatar of the Phoenix backer, you already have access to participate in Alpha One testing. Please check your email for further information. If you did not receive an email, please reach out to our Support team directly here.
• If you are an Explorer, Settler, Pioneer, Founder, or Warrior of Old backer, you will see upgrade options in the shop when you are logged in. This will allow you to purchase the Braver of Worlds package (which includes Alpha One access) or higher for the difference in price.
