Most cultured souls find themselves both prisoner and prey in this realm, constantly battling with hostile intruders and dangerous beasts as they seek to restore the cultures of their forebears. Although, there are some who aren’t interested in reclaiming lost civilizations, or forging new ones. There are those who roam these savage lands hunting the most deadly creatures they can find. Most regard them as foolhardy madmen, for who would be insane enough to stalk the largest and most ferocious beasts that Verra has to offer? The Grapoon

Accessory Cosmetic Skin *

As any experienced hunter of titanic predators knows, nature often hides a creature’s most vulnerable spot high atop their back. This requires hunters to find a method of scaling brobdingnagian frames quickly and easily. To efficiently surmount this obstacle, legendary metalsmith Lokarb Dagrdyn engineered a climbing tool called The Grapoon. Part harpoon and part grappling hook, this hefty tool is slung on the hunter’s back until needed. When a likely target appears, The Grapoon is launched from its metal tube and magically-propelled to the weakest part of the target’s hide, embedding itself and allowing the hunter to begin their perilous climb!

When a hunter is in close combat with a colossal creature, they hope to distract their target’s attention. Such a task calls for birds of prey that can reach the heights of the most towering titans’ eyesight. To a Giantslayer, none is more valuable than the magical Metal Hawk, crafted and brought to life in arcane forges. About the size of a large dog, these four-winged wonders cannot only be used as a spotter for faraway prey, but also used as a shiny lure. Many giants have chased their glinting wings and magical trails, only to find their head mounted as a trophy.

Duskthunder Rhino

Among the Order of Giantslayers, the most desired steeds are powerful and fearless. No mount fits this description more precisely than the Duskthunder Rhino. This massive mount has a hide as dark as midnight, and glowing, iridescent eyes. It is most often heard approaching before its massive girth becomes apparent. Its squat posture gives it a naturally low center of gravity, making it virtually immune to stumbling during battle. Adorn one with Banded Giantslayer Mount Armor, and it becomes a living breathing war machine!

Composed of thick leather bands covered in deadly iron spikes, this armor will deflect damage from massive blows, while its formidable spikes dissuade any colossal foe from seizing them in the midst of battle. Members of the Order of Giantslayers have designed a specialized vehicle to meet this need, the Juggernaut Wagon. This is primarily an enormous cargo wagon constructed in the highest quality manner with the sturdiest of components. Its massive wheels can scale the most uneven terrain, especially when pulled by a powerful beast of burden like the Duskthunder Rhino. This functionality allows its driver to effortlessly traverse the wildest overgrown terrain, no matter how far it strays from the road.

The life of a hunter is not always their own in the wild. There are times between hunts that a Giantslayer must rest, recuperate, and revel in the grandeur of tall tales well-told by their fellow hunters; and perhaps regaling others with their own.
