Questions/Comments
I have only been on this forum for a couple of days and am trying to get more information and voice my opinions.
Housing
Other than providing citizenship does it do anything? I know freeholds you can have buildings that can have an impact on professions. Does housing give you any type of storage space or anything? Is there any type of vault or anything in this game?
Freeholds
Can you place freeholds anywhere you want in the ZOI or will there be certain locations they can be built within the ZOI?
Party Size
https://www.ashesofcreation.com/group-dynamics/ says that they are currently planning on parties for 8 players. Will it be normal to see parties with 8 people questing? If so how much harder will it be to solo quests? I like the idea of the party size, it will hopefully make it easier for dps to get in a group.
What will be the party size for raids?
Also on that note, will we have to have certain classes with us to complete quests? Example: will there be a quest in a hidden cave where only a mage can see the entrance?
Looting
Will the party leader be able to change loot rules mid dungeon/raid? I have seen this abused before and if this is not addressed I personally won’t play this game. The potential bidding system seems like a good concept except I can see this being abused.
Nodes
I think that once a node advances and its ZOI absorbs another nodes ZOI that the absorbee should be allowed to say if it is willing to submit. The reason I say this is because for example say there are two level 1 nodes right next to each other, as close as possible, and one node advances to the level 2 while the other node is level 1 at 99%. So now the level one node wants to attack the level 2 node but everytime anybody from the level one node gathers resources or does anything to prepare to attack the level 2 node they are actually making the level 2 node stronger by giving them experience.
How will the Node type be chosen? In the blog it states “players don’t own nodes, the world does”, so how will the node type initially be chosen? Can the people running the node i.e. the government change the node type if it wants?
Travel
https://www.ashesofcreation.com/a-world-with-consequences/ you mention development of nodes will give better roads for travel. Does travel in this reference only refer to how caravans will travel or will there be different travel speeds depending on the environment and asset, i.e. players, mounts and enemies?
Husbandry
I know it will be included but is there any more information on this?
Any and all constructive criticism is welcome.

In addition to these and many others there is about 20 hours of interviews and Twitch livestreams that go into specific mechanics out there.

Dungeons are being balanced for groups of 8. Solo quests are not part of that process.
Raid size has not been determined yet, but 40 has been thrown around.
Certain classes will have abilities that will make content easier. Has not been stated that they will be required. For example. Your mage may be able to see a magic door, that allows the party to skip a portion of trash, the group could still do the dungeon without that ability, just easier with the ability there.

Loot is still being discussed, and any loopholes like above will be worked out well before live. Problems with need/greed, bid system, and other potential systems they have thrown out have been discussed extensively on the forums and they have yet to come out with a final system. Changing of loot rules will NOT be a mechanic to be sure.

It has not been stated at what level that a node begins to lock out the other nodes around it from advancing, but imagine it would be at least level 3. Those are mechanics to be tweaked and tested in alpha/beta.
Node types are pre-determined. People will not know what type of node it is until it reaches level one. Then there are visual cues as to what type it will be. Priest npcs appearing at Religious nodes, Scholars at Scientific, and so on. Node types CANNOT be changed by the government. They are set. The players affect which nodes gain dominance, not the type.

No real extra info I have found on this yet, someone else may have better info.

Freehold placement will be reasonably open but there will be proximity markers to prevent freeholds being stacked together (video link).

Questing may be individual and group oriented (link). An individual quest example was shown on stream (video link).
There will be 40 man raid groups (video link).
Not explicitly clarified to my knowledge.

Everything I've read points to the predetermined node type not changing, but this hasn't been explicitly stated yet. What has been stated is that a node's base style template is reflective of the race of the founders of the node (video link). So even if the node type remains the same, it may end up looking different the second time round.

There will be different travel speeds (quote).

To my knowledge, there is no detail on this at the moment.
