    I have spent 3 years of my life playing with this guild ... and I wouldn't change any of it!
    Within Checkmate you will find some of the nicest and friendliest people in the MMO community. If you are after a dedicated and experienced guild with a strive to be the best, look no further!

    I'm just a trial member in this guild, but I've joined them for some months already.

    From day one you can tell they are quite professional and skilled players, they always know whats going on with this game and even when I make stupid questions to the leader he listens to them and gives me the best answers.

    This is actually the 1st time that I feel I'll have to tryhard constantly just to match the other top players in this guild, so if you don't like to be slow down by others and look to improve your skill, this is the perfect spot to be in my opinion!

    Great guild. If you want to play APOC with a quality community take your time to learn what Checkmate is about, it might just be what you're looking for. Competent and active leadership and the hardcore approach isn't overwhelming - just passionate gamers wanting to play at a respectable and competitive level.

    I am only a trial member, but so far I am very happy with my choice and am looking forward to playing AoC with Checkmate. Hopefully, for many good years to come!
