@shoklen @TheNobleOne I think this mans is tryna find an excuse to plan more computer builds. I wonder if I'll get to see any fancy new builds on pcpartpicker by the time this thread dies. :p

@dancer 64 GB of RAM!? You planning to host 10 minecraft servers or something? (I guess they'd have to be pretty empty servers for the CPU to not be a bottleneck.)

How do you fit a TV of that magnitude in your room? 😂 You must be actually living in a castle 🤣😉

My monitor isn't even 1080, it's 1050.. Old flat panel, and first one since coming out of the CRT ages.. haha..

Basically, a nice system from 2012/13..

What are you capable of running on it currently and what settings? 😀

Sadly nothing much that's current.. Newest game was No Man's Sky, which isn't saying much. Though I did run it off a RAMdrive, that was nice. Mainly, just Skyrim, which, also, isn't saying much. I also use it for Maya ('08 version). I did play some APOC. It ran surprisingly well; better then I thought it would.

Saving up for a new system. Waiting to see the new hardware to start rolling out in the Fall. One day.. One day..

Well... that should be more than enough time to prepare yourself. Any specific specifications you're aiming for? 😊

Thinking an ITX build but making a completely custom case. Background in design and tech.. I'd love the challenge of making a ITX case from scratch.

Going towards the deeper end I see... Well, hopefully you get the result you'd like if you do choose to take that route 😁
