What sort of achievement system would people like to see in place for Ashes?
Achievements for doing what sort of activities?
How about rewards for achievements purely cosmetic rewards or items?
In many games, achievements give points that apply to an overall points score for achievements but that is usually all you get a point score. I would like to see rewards given for the number of points you achieve thus a more direct way of showing how many achievements you have.
What would others like to see or what other achievement systems have you seen implemented in other games that you thought were well done?

Formerly T-Elf
Good idea, we might aswell have Nagash-chan if it comes to that.
player with highest kill count in open world pvp, or highest K/D ratio
player with highest amount of gold in inventory
first to discover certain bosses or recipy's (or sandal?)
Achievements could give someone titles, pets and transmog gear or atleast new colours and costumes
And mounts
I'd say skill morphs, as long as they weren't new skills, just morphs, for some of the harder achievements in the game, with players getting morphs with everything from race, subclass, religion, NPC guilds, and so on I don't see it as too much of a stretch for some of them to come from achievements.
Soooo.. I would really like to see achievement system also in AoC. Rewards can be mostly titles, points and cosmetics like in WoW. However, maybe WoW went too far with achievement system and there was too much of those at first place. I guess I want to see more meaningful achievements rather than kill 10 ducks to become a duck killer stuff.. If you know what I mean. Once again quality over quantity imo.
I was thinking if achievements could be somehow useful rather than offer only vanity stuff. Maybe specific achievements needs to be achieved before player can join some cults/factions/clans or what ever there will be. Or maybe achievements could be used somewhere else to be a little bit more useful. But if that is not wanted I am totally fine with 100% vanity system as well.
cosmetic skins for mounts, pets and battlepets
I really like the idea of skill morphs through the achievement system and even a set of achievements to join an organization. Perhaps having some achievements to join one organization may preclude you from other organizations, would be an interesting twist.
Definitely mounts. +1
Agree - Risk vs Reward. Titles should be uncommon with the more rare titles requiring a much higher level of effort. "Insane in the Membrane" was one that WoW players had to put in so much effort that when you saw someone sporting it there was much respect for the effort if not the player.
lul
