Hey guys, wiped my phone again, so I could probably answer this on discord.
I just wanted to take it back to the old combat footage for a second. The fighter combat here looked promising to me when I saw it and everytime I think of it, it just seems way more "grounded" than the combat footage now.
I just had one question I guess....
When the MMO releases, will I be bouncing around in the air like some Peter pan ninja with a griffon or I gotta earn them skills or no...?

The PAX West footage is tab-target combat.
I guess what you mean by "combat footage now" is the action combat in Apoc.
The MMORPG will have both tab-target abilities and action combat abilities.
The super-jump currently in Apoc -if it makes it into the MMORPG- will only be available to a limited number of classes and it will likely be toned down considerably.

Tank is the only "fighter" class that's been available. Weapon Master has not been revealed yet.
So, that vid you posted is pretty much it.

Ok, the combat looks great NOW, don't get me wrong. I was just worried about the super jumps and super jump into griffon ability. How that would affect combat considerably in the MMO. Yes I hope them abilities stay in the BR, if you want my 2 cents.

Pretty sure super-jump to gryphon will not be a thing in the MMORPG.

The "fighter" in the video is actually a tank btw xD

The air dash (thats what i call the super jump) is something that will most likely be a thing for a class in the game (rogue would be the most obvious one in my opinion). We dont know for sure though! The griphon thing is something that is solely for the br.
