I don't want to press "E" & my crafting concerns

In the most recent dev update we got a preview of gathering resources such as herbs & cutting trees down. We've also seen fishing. I'm sorry to say, I wasn't very impressed. I would like to be able to click to gather resources if need be, but the idea of there not also being a keybind to do so is absolutely ridiculous.
Do not force me to click on every single interactable in the game.
