Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

I would love the idea of there being a "Founder's Flag" type system for people that first claim/upgrade a node to level 1 so that the character is always remembered. I feel like this fits really well with the concept of the ever-changing world. Likewise, a flag for the leader who destroyed a node would be equally awesome! I think it's important to reinforce the idea of "History" with a dynamic world like this. What are your thoughts?

    I like this idea and shows a bit of prestige. I would imagine these flags being locked behind a metropolis or at the very least a city thus making it a rare item.

    Yeah awesome, the founder fathers that pioneered the node. Their names, any players who gave even 1 exp to its growth from 0 to tier 1, would be on a trophy of some sort placed in the Trophy Park. https://ashesofcreation.wiki/Trophy_park

    Perhaps whoever "planted the flag" would have a banner, or even a crest on their armour. Maybe even a title? I feel it's something worth being proud of!

    I think it would also be cool to track how much players have "contributed" to each node. And reward the highest contributing members for their contributions to each node level up, in some shape or form. Even if it was like you said, a trophy hall - maybe with the ability to place a trophy in your house.

    I'd love each node + server to have its own written history in some form, would be amazing and probably not too hard to develop

    Maybe...Stage 3 Village.
    Probably not Stage 1 Expedition or Stage 2 Encampment.

    There is a stage in a node where scribes can document the history of the node from their perspective and store it in a library - available to all players in that node.

    I don't like the idea of 1 person having to have their name on the node. Upgrading a node seems to be a collaborative effort. So maybe it's the name of whatever guild/alliance you're part of so everyone who have helped get some sort of recognition.

    It would also be fun to have like a hall of fame in castles or mayor/ capital buildings to show the history of mayorship haha.

    Instead of a Memorial type system for node starters, lets go with a Cemetery type system where a grave stone marks the previous person (who may or may not have actually died when the node was destroyed).
