Can in-game world records be documented in a in-game book?

Ashes of Creation is a sandbox game that is affected by players and their actions. Can all the players' influence on the world be documented so we can remember?

Since the game would be ever-changing, empires will rise and fall; some will be forgotten in a few years unless it's recorded. The book could also include players with the highest bounty, most dungeons cleared, most mobs slain, longest-lasting metropolis, richest metropolis, and so on.

I could see the book as a potential collectible or trophy that players can get for making it into the book. There should only be big-name events included since recording everything is impossible and too long. The book could come out either once every in-game year or actual year since it would take time to create. It would just be cool to put a book of player achievements on a shelf and be able to reminisce about past accomplishments and records.

One way or another I'd say some documentation has to be done since we are setting up the lore for the game, maybe scribes will be able to do this.

I remember reading somewhere on the wiki that nodes would have a library (of sorts) which would have books describing the history of the world for that node/server.

Not sure if they are player scribe created or NPC created.

That's cool to hear about the nodes, but I do wonder if there could be a yearly book made of high scores players achieve in the server rather then a specific node. It would also be cool to hear about other nodes, like which one is the richest, which one has the biggest population, and which one has lasted the longest, along with which players had the highest bounty at one point.

What would be cool I think for the RP community maybe is that they got an in-game notepad/book where they can write their stories or write about one of their adventures and then share them by placing it in their house. Of course, this might be difficult to monitor as some people might put some very disrespectful stuff in there.

People will still go to the website, instead of wasting time to go to where the book is, unfortunatly.

So it's best not to spend resources for something like that.

Scribes can create scrolls or books.

"They want to be able to collect information about the events of the world as they see it from their point of view. For instance: Nodes leveling up, they want to be able to take that information down and be the one to distribute it."

no, but the roleplayers wont. They will go and read about it in the library. Or I will, at least.

I would like world records to be documented with a list of server guilds and the top 100 most active players names. Also included is a page by page comparison of the growth of the nodes on a bi-weekly basis for the first 2 years of the server. Put all this in an actual book of records. Then I would like to pay them $100 for this so I can pull the book out when I am an old man and read it to the grandkids.
