Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!
For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

The soul acts as a focus for essence.
Ancients lead the last Wizardking down the path of lichdom. (aka. @Nagash 's daddy)
Turned his kingdom into an undead kingdom. Ancients were the origin of undead on Verra.
Fallows Hold major dungeon on Verra: holds many artifacts.
High level dungeon, with changing traps etc (would be cool if the same was the case in the game)
Primary Antagonists in Ashes: Ancients.
Their goals: pervert Verra, create "monstrosities", hate the gods.
Look of lieutenant Ancients (very caste oriented):
Every caste looks different
- slim figure
- long legs
- looks like digitigrade legs
- skin looks like burning coals with fire breaking through
- two side horns like a ram
- two "wings" made out of the same material as their skin
- a mixture of elementals and deadra in skyrim (timestamp: 22:55:20)
- began their evolution with a similar appearance of humans/elves
- wiry muscles, clawed feet and hands
- willl most likely present in Alpha 1
Primary goal in Ashes is to reclaim territories from the Ancients.
They normally exist in the Void and can only enter through the use of conduits. Dungeons are rifts between Verra and the Void through corruption.
Events will trigger invasions by the Acnients through high amounts of corruption opening a pathway between the void and the material plane.
4 major artifacts:
1. a golden chalice believed to bring everlasting life (corrupted the soul by allowing the essence a physical way to commune with the hosts soul)
2. a crown, allowing the ancients to directly influence the king
3. a sword, that allowed the manipulation of the evil side of the essence
4. a staff, that allowed his magic to range over great distances
They all interacted like the Deathly Hallows from Harry Potter.
They are also available in the game as artifacts/relics. Only usable in nodes themselves to boost the nodes power.
Crafters that were part of obtaining these achievements can obtain recipes to make enchantments or effects that are the same as those weapons.
Possible example:
Staff could allow you to put an extra range enchantment or you could craft a weapon with higher range.
You can get copies of these relics if you succesfully siege a node.
These relics are unique, players DONT have direct access to them.
Guess I'll have to wait another couple of years for some more...le sigh

I think these lore reveals have become a bit of a tradition now with Extra Life, so we'll just have to see about that
