Once and for all, lets make a poll with a large enough sample to be relevant! I will post this everywhere! In forum, reddit, ur dogs house, and discord. Ill even put out a billboard outside my barn in the forest.

    Summoner surprised me as being #1 when I voted. I voted Ranger for the time being.. but Bard might be a choice as well. I always seem to go DPS in MMOs, and tend to always be on the outside looking in when trying to find groups.

    If it released tomorrow, with only Tank, Mage, and Cleric ready? I'd probably play Cleric. High Priest.

    only ever play tanks so its going to be a guardian maybe a knight depending on if i can still keep good defensive ability's while gaining some decent dps through Fighter

    Though perhaps 68 votes isn't wholly representative, it is wonderful to see what an even spread we're getting. I hope this carries forward without people deciding to adhere to a potential meta of "who does the most dps".

    Personally I have a couple of class ideals I'd like to try recreating.

    First and foremost is my trusty Dragoon. High burst dps in specific windows, high mobility, wearing plate/mail/scale armor. Speccing into spears will hopefully not come to bite me in the ass when all the drops will be swords and axes and daggers.
    For my Dragoon idea, I would expect some combination of Fighter and something that gives me high burst and or augments to mobility.

    Second is the Oath of Vengeance Paladin from D&D, or Retribution Paladin from WoW.
    Another high burst class focused on buffing my damage and having some auras to buff allies. Be a frontline class who's tanky, survivable, and supportive.
    This could likely be my tank alt, as there is a Paladin class. Perhaps a Templar too.
    Alternatively if not a Tank, something like a Highsword (Fighter/Cleric).

    Some variation of Ranger and also interested in a Warlock (mage/summoner) or its inverse (Spellamancer).
