I'm fond of the style of armor Intrepid showed on february. Stylized, detailed and lean.
Yesterday Intrepid asked on twitter what other types of armor we would like seeing implemented in the game, so I have one question:
1- Dark blue with secondary black material
2- Hourglass waist with oval shoulder pads
3- Particle effect in the helmet emulating a plume
4- A black aura and a red glowing visor would me amazing
Something along this line.
The chest piece looks a bit noisy.
This silhouette
Red particle effects looks awesome on dark blue and black
My Weapon Master fantasy
The look and details of the armor delivered in february is great, I wouldn't mind just getting a re-color with some particle effects added.

Some people like spikes, horns and strapped leather.
I think they are silly. But to each their own.
It's funny that you say this. I want to be the biggest person on the battlefield but I don't want to sacrifice quality looks to get that. If all goes according to plan, I will get my spikes, I will get my horns, I will be huge......and it will look elegant AF.
This armor looks sick af
Big fan of what I am seeing here.
I don't think I would wear the helm, but the rest looks fantastic.

Don't like the shield being held by glue.
I don't think spikes and horns are compatible with elegance, but you are free to prove me wrong :P
I'm a huge nerd for greek-roman history and warfare. I hope we get something inspired in this.
Maybe fom the Empyrean race. Just not with the horn in the shoulder, that looks idiotic.
I agree.
What type of design have you enjoyed in games?
"Magic"
a full set of runic plate armour..nothing better for a dwarven guardian.
What class would wear this?
For dps warrior and ranger.
In general I like to have my char wearing stuff that doesnt restrict him, expect when playing tank
You're bleeding for salvation, but you can't see that you are the damnation itself." -Norther
"What class would wear this?"
@Nagash postet that. There is only one answer:
They are graverobbers and corpsefladderers. Brothers of worms and carrion birds.
They are.... Necromancers.
I think I am overall a big fan of armor that could be worn in duels etc, elegance and deadly accuracy instead of brute strength and pure metal plate.
(Pauldron too big sadly)
This is a helmet I hope they make someday.
Foot-Combat Helm of Sir Giles Capel (1485–1556)
So rounded and symmetric it makes me want to cry. This is like the David of helmets for it's proportions
Featured in Poe as Fencer helmet.
Any other pauldron would work, I think.
I'm a fan of greek arms and armor and anything inspired by it. The fur looks super good on top.
The contrast in materials brings bright to the whole set. I hope we see more chainmail and coats paired with plate.
This is my favorite. Few spikes looks good and the silhouette is tasteful. Hourglass shape, rounded chest and oval head.
Color in-game
You don't have to be a Mindflayer to wear a Mindflayers armor...
Not full plate, but there is some plate in there.

So happy that they made this a armour set tbh:
That looks like grey warden armour
you have very good taste in armor man, those look siick
Top pic would work great for a high priest build
