As the De-buff bard has been confirmed, do you agree that this specific build will become the indefinite Meta in PVP/PVE upon release?

    Don't know enough about Bard in general to automatically assume the debuffs will be meta. A Bard might be able to buff and debuff at the same time. Depends on augments, personal preference and the Class Design which we won't see until Alpha 2.

    There will be someone with a cleanse option. So it won't be a meta.

    If there was a debuff bard, and that could be used as a secondary class option, could open up some cool debuff options for other folks too. I do like the idea of having an archetype focus on a debuff skillset, it sounds like it'd be fun to try out!

    It will all depend if debuffs are restrictive only to bard archetypes and the degree of pure bard debuffs vs hybrid bards

    also those degrees mean that for regular dungeons you will most likely be fine with hybrids, but for large scale pvp/pve you'd definitely want a pure debuff since the minor benefit over hybrid is multiplied by the amount of players benefiting from it

    like we have literally no information on the gameplay identity of the archetypes so this "worry" can be literally applied to any archetype since we don't know if other archetypes won't have their own single powerful debuff as well

    Just because they haven't been shown, dosen't mean they aren't confirmed. There is the list of classes. I don't think they would change in. I do recall they have been mentioned in a live stream

    It's probable in larger groups in PvE.
    Nowhere near enough information to guess for PvP.

    Roll a d8 and express an opinion about which Archetype will be OP. We can't predict how the balance will play out yet. Even after release, if one Archetype is OP it will eventually be nerfed. There will probably be balance adjustments on abilities for the entirety of the product life.

    I'm speculating that Cleric will be unavoidably useful, even with Bard as off-heal or Summoner having a summon that off-heals.

    At the moment it is wait and see.

    Think a1 has a level limit and archetypes and the rest of the classes are a2.
