Please make summoner not just magic based.
I've always loved the idea of a tag team like with ur summon in the back and u hack him on the front
not saying magic summoner shoulnt be a thing but imo summoner should be able to choose what u they want to play with.

    This was a frequently requested thing in the main class threads. Given Intrepid isn't weapon locking by class (and therefore giving you weaponskills better for melee) nor armor locking (and therefore giving you resistances and ac better for melee) you will probably get some semblance of what you want.

    while true the wiki states summoner is arcane based like magician fireball and such so it still scales of intelligence.

    This is solved by making int based weapon abilities for certain weapons.

    Summoners will be able to wield weapons if they wish to.
    And, they will also have augments - martial augments if they so wish.
    Summoners will not just be locked into directing their Summons.
  • dude you can literally be a summoner and the have your next archatype be a tank... so now you have good hp dp.. or a summoner warrior where you can have great summons and then have high melee DPS
