The Cawckiest King

Calling this one "Flight from Vera"

Decided on trying something to the theme of a Veran doing a pumpkin carving that gives a nod towards the original destruction that led the major races to flee through the Divine Gateways.

Included the likeness of the Phoenix avatar/goddess and tried to incorporate her tail feathers as forming the arches/rings of the Gateways, represented with the blue candle, and then had other candles in the form of buildings that are melting from the candle flames.

Ended up making the "wings" as the eyes and had little carved "flames"/tears to give the pumpkin kind of a distressed/sad look, and then wanted to have a light cast off the back through a carving of one of the corrupted Ancients.

And of course, we have our halloween-dressed Blacksight Watchers! Arguably my favorite cosmetics so far. One dressed up as a spiffy Caw-ckerel, the other as a Turtle-bird. Just enjoying some traditional halloween treats, nothing to see here

Everything was hand-drawn. No stock, clip-arts, or any such edits from outside sources, including the color and texture of the pumpkin.

Here is my submission for this year!
I attempted to make the Dünthol’s Forge cosmetic skin from a few years back.
The structure is primarily held together with lots and lots of toothpicks.
