Will there be spellcrafting?

I know that there will be scribing which kinda sounds more than close enough to what i would want so will probably be my artisan skill but im just curious if there will be a full spellcrafting like how ESO at one point in time about 7 years ago had intended to add with it being finding spell pages that you can than combine with eachother to make new spells and if so would it be linked to say the spellbook weapon in that you need to use your spellbook full of your crafted spells to use em? ik this probably isnt the case and i would be fine if it werent or at least if it werent gonna happen by release and be added later on but really i just always loved the idea of being a master mage able to even make my own spells! beyond that i would love if i could make myself a full ability bar of say spatial magic spells like black hole and blink and not haveta even touch say fire magic so i could be a purely spacial mage or on the inverse have a bar that feels like it gives me endless fire magic without ever even thinking of spacial magic. :smiley:

    Nope, there won't be a system like that in Ashes.

    We have spell ranks and augments instead.

    hmm figured although i will say from what i have heard about scribing and more specifically the possibility of scroll crafting that definantly sounds more than close enough for me at least :smiley:

    There is no info on scribing.

    It is on the wiki, but literally all Intrepid have said about it is the following (paraphrased as I can't be bothered transcribing the conversation);

    Person asking question; will the game have scribes that can record the events of the server?

    Steven; I'm not sure I get what you mean.

    Jeff; like, someone to write down things that happen like sieges, and rulers and such. Writing a history of each server.

    Steven; sounds cool.

    Wiki; scribe confirmed crafting profession!

    So yeah, don't go assuming scribe will be a profession in the game, and even if it is, don't assume anything about what it will be as yet.

    i know but at bare minimum crafting scrolls either as a resource or item like scene in say the elder scrolls games seems like a good probability and even if it ends up just processing stuff for other people or making stuff for other classes, im sure ill love it :D
