Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

    There realistically won't be a WoW 2 (not in the recent future) because the costs would be too high and it's clear as daylight it just wouldn't work because if they could make a good-quality WoW the current WoW retail would be that and not a dumpster fire.

    Honestly, if AoC works out I wouldn't be surprised if they announce WoW2 with everything copy-pasted from AoC just with a Warcraft theme. I mean, that's what WoW has constantly done (and I don't blame it or anything I'm just stating that this is what happened), copying other systems that worked out in other mmo-rpgs (sadly, most of the time they were very badly copied).

    The WoW team has been adamant against making a WoW 2 because it would force all players to start over and ultimately split the already dwindling player base. And I don't think Microsoft would change that outlook.

    I don't think the MS acquisition will impact AoC at all. Hopefully it can spark some changes with Blizzard. They are in dire need for some changes. We shall see what the future holds
