In-Game Moderators and Authentication

This may have been mentioned already but whenever the game goes live in a few years, please have in-game moderators and mobile or some other kind of authentication.

I've been playing other games recently, New World and Lost Ark, and the bot problem is out of control. They are solely relying on in game reporting (which seems to take months to review cases) and software features in game to detect activity and to be honest, it's not enough.

Bots are incredibly easy to identify and there needs to be in game resource allocated to removing them.

Davey to the rescue! Steven definitely wants in game moderators. I'd like to think that perhaps there might be community mods of sorts like Vaknar that MAY transition to some hybrid of social media/in game moderation - or perhaps they'll get someone dedicated down the line, but wishful thinking I guess!

New world did have box price to deter some botting but it definitely wasn't as bad as Lost Ark which while being a free game being a major initial issue with botting - their anti-botting is poor. Especially given we have to wait 3 minutes for anti cheat to boot it's a massive slap in the face lol.

So Intrepid have the right idea from the get go.

I'm yet to find something that Intrepid haven't thought about and it's very encouraging.

Seems they may really pull this off!

They're a studio full of gamers, rather than a studio being paid to make a game!
