1. So the question I have is ore such as mythril and orichalcum have special properties to them?
-Say Mythril is a more nonmagical metal meaning it can absorb magic better than other metal, with that it is easier to enchant but armor made of the material is more susceptible to magical attacks and vice versa for Orichalcum as it will be more magical leaving it more susceptible to be destroyed due to it being pushed to its limit as it is already full of magic but is a great material for armor that reduces magical damage
2. The second question to this is, will there be a type of metallurgy where you can make alloys to combine these properties?
-Going back to the previous explanation say you want to make a strong armor made of Orichalcum and want to enchant but knowing it will have an increased risk of destruction due to its properties previously stated you decide to mix is with Mythril to help with the problem, making the new alloy Mythrum (Mythril+Orichalcum). This lowers its chance of breaking or decaying through enchanting
These are question that I propose so that we can see how far into crafting we'd have to look to get that perfect set of gear that is personalized to the creator. would love to hear some feedback and other ore property ideas!
