Can player charters Wear any armour type, if they chose to example could a necromancer wear plate armour.

    Any archetype can wear any armor type. However, as far as we're aware, different archetypes are going to get skill trees for different armor types to make them better at specific armor levels, such as a tank getting a skill tree they can invest in for the heaviest type of armor.

    If you have no interest in investing skill points in your archetype's armor skill tree, then you will have no real difference between wearing the same armor as a tank, as a summoner, as a ranger, or whatever else. Everybody will be able to put on a suit of plate if that's what you're looking for.
