Taliesin makes damn good points about Iridikrion

I have not played WoW in quite sometime, but I always pay attention to the lore and the writing. I think Iridikrion and the Primal Incarnates are some of the best done villains in terms of story writing in a long time.

It applies to all villains and story arcs across the genre.

I agree that WoW vilains are uninteresting and cliché

Guild Wars 2 has good vilains
PvE means: A handful of coins and a bag of boredom.

Guild Wars 2 definitely had better story arcs in terms of villains, more relatable.

I really never liked that "foolish mortal" vibe a lot of WoW villains come off with.

Those foolish mortals are killing the villain every time, so who is really the fool? And why we killing someone cosmic level powers?

Iridikrion is the best villain they've had since Arthas, unless he ends up an anti-hero like Illidan.

Arthas and Illidan are just two if not the two best written characters in WoW.
