Glorious Alpha Two Testers!

Alpha Two Realms are now unlocked for Phase II testing!

For our initial launch, testing will begin on Friday, December 20, 2024, at 10 AM Pacific and continue uninterrupted until Monday, January 6, 2025, at 10 AM Pacific. After January 6th, we’ll transition to a schedule of five-day-per-week access for the remainder of Phase II.

You can download the game launcher here and we encourage you to join us on our for the most up to date testing news.

Dygz went from I wont play the game to...

    BTW, i would have liked to have heard more of your perspectives on the game while you were on Theory Forge. I already know Dygz's stance, he cant stop posting about it.

    wouldn't matter, most likely, you too would listen to dygz talk about not playing or circumventing the spirit of the game.

    The point is to have new povs on different themes. They all kinda had the same pov on "meaningful conflict", while I had a different one.

    Considering that we're years out from release I'm sure they'll have enough time to have podcasts with all prominent forum posters. Well, that is if they want to do that.

    My last point about L2 having nothing but meaningful content went kinda completely against everything all 3 of them said up until that point. If that didn't come across as opposite to their views then I'm just bad at getting my point across and you wouldn't have gotten my pov properly either way :D

    I almost wasn't on the podcast in the first place cause I'm too shy about my english. So the little argument that was present in the episode would've been gone completely. Well, unless they had gotten George on the podcast, but I dunno if they'll ever want with his abrasiveness and all :D

    Which is kinda funny because I have not started any topics in the Forums.
    And when I came to the Forums after a 2+ month break - you had started 4 topics about me not playing.
    And you’ve started at least 2 more topics about it since.

    People, including you, told me they hoped I would find a way to play after launch.
    My Bartle Score has me at Socializer 73%.
    I like to socialize.

    I hate it when gamers disrupt my character progression.
    But, if I’m not pursuing any progression, gamers can’t disrupt it.
    If I’m not pursuing progression, death penalties become irrelevant.

    When I want embetter my character in an MMORPG, I will be playing something else.
    In Ashes, people can kill me as much as they want.
    I never really care whether people kill me - what I care about is gamers disrupting my progression goals.

    And it can be the NiKr hour if he wants it to be the NiKr hour.
