I could care less about the pvp part of the game, I mostly play games like this for dungeons and gear and grouping with friends to progress in the game. If anyone has any info on this they would like to share it would be great!

More instances would attract more of those players because they could spend quite a lot of time in instances, rather than in the open world. Of course, that would be counter to Steven's goals.

Ont thing worth remembering here would be that you cannot escape PvP in this game, just like people will not escape PvE in this game either. With that being said maybe our best hints at the depth of the PvE content are the showcase of the story arc system. With the progression of Nodes, deeper levels of dungeons become available (as explained with the Tower of Carphin) and story lines will progress possibly also tied to the Node progression. Additionally I am very curious about the exploration component of the game, there the game could really shine with its dynamic quest system.

Finishing them of with explosives. A spectacular event indeed. See, I disagree. I think Ashes PvE content is going to be limp like a wet noodle. People participating will push on with that flacid content though, hoping for something harder afterwards - only to be disapointed again having to resort to PvP themselves in order to find any satisfaction. Everyone will likely leave disapointed, unsatisfied and reevaluating their life choices that led them to this point.
