Why i was thinking South America might get their own. Each server is only going to be able to hold like 8k-10k active players so the numbers will be based around player retention and marketing projections.

I thought people are talking about release servers. That means the Alpha 2 will have quite a lot of players and they might even test server merges, if population drops.

The reason you want dedicated SA servers isn't just for the ping issues, it's because SA players are almost entirely BR Portuguese and Spanish speaking, and that language will take over certain NA servers to make them "default" SA servers.

I was addressing the goal for launch The wiki does not say anything about SA currently so that's why I brought it up but the wiki does mention NA, EU, SEA and OCE but for testing only NA and EU currently.

I remember hearing Steven I think say something about them trying for SA servers for that population
