Will the summoner have a spec with druid like abilities?

my friend plays feral druid in WoW since tbc and he loves the concept of the class. I, personally, think is quite unique and fits the mmorpg world.

Does anyone know if there will be a spec of the summoner with metamorphic powers? did anyone in intrepid ever comment on that?

    Beastmaster might be close to Druid.
    Depends on what you think a Druid does.

    Ashes does not have a Shapeshifting Class.

    Nobody can really answer questions like this at the moment as we didn't even have the summoner preview
