GeForce Now Support?

I was wondering if the devs are planning in the future to launch Ashes of Creation on GeForce Now. There are already a ton of games available on the platform like New World, WoW, Guild Wars 2, Call of Duty, Black Desert, Lost Ark, and Monster Hunter: World.

It seems like more games keep getting added all the time, and I’m assuming that Throne and Liberty and Monster Hunter Wilds will probably show up there too eventually.

This gets asked quite often but the answer is no, there are no current plans for any streaming cloud services as of now.

Maybe in the future if and when the game takes off and the player base grows but one thing you would have to consider is that they will probably have to pay a hefty monthly fee for hosting the game and if no one or not enough people use it so the player base will need to grow first in my opinion before that decision is made.

On the surface it seems like a good idea, to allow players with an average home system to get some of the additional performance this game will require for the massive battles we all envision. But, money is always an issue and if GeForce Now costs AoC too much money then it's understandable why it wouldn't be used, however, GeForce Now charges the user a good clip as well so maybe Nvidia needs to realign there own fees to increase its' own popularity and use.

I am not even sure if you can selfhost and be on Geforce Now.
When I tried it, it only had games from certain launchers. I think Steam/Epic and Ubisoft.
Even Battlenet wasn't supported until recently - and WoW/HS/Diablo 4 had massive communities.

I’m not too familiar with the hosting side of things, but I see it as a cost-effective entry into PC gaming. Instead of spending money on a console, you could save up a bit more and get a laptop with a decent CPU, then play through GeForce Now. You can even plug an external screen into it for a better experience. It could also boost the player base, though I’m not completely sure how the game would be integrated into the platform

One of the big pros is that you can play from anywhere as long as you have a stable internet connection, so it’s perfect for remote gaming.

Geforce Now does allow people with lower end rigs play.

Even more than that! It allows people with no rigs to play. Many modern TVs have the option to install GFN directly, without a PC.

I used to use it to play ESO on my cell phone
