Do you guys have VSync on? That might be limiting the FPS to 60. Which is fine. I would just think it can go higher without.

I limit my FPS to 60. I have no desire to play a MMO at the 144 my monitor to output at. When I play a FPS I go 120FPS MMOs or other games like that, Elderscrolls games etc. locked at 60 FPS

Have you managed to test your FPS on lower resolutions? i.e. 1440 or 1080? I personally will be likely aiming for one of those and would be curious how your 1080Ti performs there.

I think UE5 in general is more performant on Nvidia GPUs but I stand to be corrected if someone wants to chime in.

Hopefully performance will go up for everybody when Intrepid starts to optimize the game. If im not mistaken optimizing is the last thing studios do after all the systems and techs implemented to the game

Yeah, I've heard about the memory leaks and the "I need to restart my game every few mins cause the fps are below the floor now" stuff. Several testers have talked about these. In the worst case scenario I'd probably get to test somewhere in Phase 3. Would be shitty as hell, but being broke and not doing anything about kinda makes life that in all aspects

16gb is the entry to gaming. Ram is cheap. I often find the cheapest upgrades can make a huge difference.

As Patrick said, we're talking about vram, not ram. I have 32 ram. Also, cheap is still not cheap when you're broke
