Alpha 2 download and server availability

We are only a few days out from the alpha 2 and i have not heard or read anywhere that i can find when the game download will be available? Also have they said when the servers will will be available? sometime that morning on the 25th, at midnight on the 25th or when?

I agree. I would have expected to have this information at least a week in advance. Radio silence on this does not inspire confidence...

Ditto. I think I had A1 access when A1 came out but never heard how to participate. I was too busy anyhow, but I hope the same doesn't happen this time.
Could be mistaken too...

They are likely all hands-on deck and not wanting to say anything till they are 100% sure. It's not uncommon for Beta game launches to be like this.

Live stream for the 25th was announced for 11am Pst. I would assume the game is possibly going live after that.

A per-download in the order of oldest to the newest purchase 5 days beforehand would have been nice so that not everyone is downloading at the same time bottle necking the severs. Just my two cents.

Hoping they don't leave the pre-download too late. While I personally wont have any issues downloading everything quickly, many people do not have that advantage.

seems like they putting emails out thurdsay to get as many builds / patches tested by Pre A2 people and voyagers invited to the stress test before the masses download it

I just got the Invite for Early Stress Test on the 23rd, and the Email came with a Launcher Download.

So my guess is, we'll all get an Email for the regular A2 soon enough, and be able to have the Launcher downloaded before it rolls... but that's only a guess.

I got the email to download the client for the Alpha Phase, but when I try to log in, it says I don't have permission. My account says I have access to all stages of Alpha development from my Kickstarter contribution a long time ago. Is there something special I need to do?

Just a guess... the Early Access isn't until tomorrow morning. And the official isn't until the 25th. So no one can probably get in right now, until those two times hit.

Same here, super excited. But take my answers with a grain of salt, this is my GUESS, I don't actually KNOW.

Just trying to be helpful, since I'm going through all this the first time and receiving information (via the Invite Email and all that).
