Thank you for ruining my Sunday

Thank you to those causing the DDoS attack, you ruined my Sunday. I got disconnected 5 hours ago and haven't been able to play.

Don't you have anything better to do? are you doing that so no one can log in and you can progress?

Is this the DDOS Attack ? This here showed up for me when i try to log in and get into the Launcher where i can either launch the Game or not.

But then i think i saw some People who the Date of their Comments says " 26th October " or so that they have the same Problem ?? This is confusing.

You know what ?

I suspect the usual Suspects behind this. " Shitty Companies ". And Yes - Activision Blizzard among them.

This is very real. This is a good practice run for the team. Need to learn how to deal with this stuff. I hope they identify the bad eggs. This is sad attacking gamers.

Well i get a refreshing new bit of Error-Messages. But it is nice to know that things are moving and changing. Even during this DDOS Attack.

It is good that this Annoyance has also good Sides to it. Dear Intrepid can practise to defend against such scummy Troublemakers and Disturbers.

Well, I worked with IT security for years and I can say this: very frequently attackers are blackmailing the company, I have no proof that this is happening in here. I am saying this because real life carebears think that DDoS attacks come just to run everybody else's fun, which is almost never the case, most common cause is someone wants money

So basically to literally one or several Criminals trying to hold a Gun on Intrepid's Head and saying Your Money or your Life.
Everyone involved knows that it would never solve the Issue by giving in into their Demands.

Intrepid knows it,
and the know it, too.

I may be a bit paranoid but i could imagine that some People would love to do this Crap solely for the fact that if they could keep this up long enough over enough Phase 1 Weekends,

-> they could probably force Intrepid and Sir Steven to delay the Phase 2 from December 20th into January or further.

Only so that " THEN " - the usual Suspects could bitch and nag and whine and talk trash about Intrepid and Ashes of Creation again and call it a Scam.

I suspect the most nasty kind of individuals behind it. But as i said. Maybe i am just paranoid.

It's just not worth paying anything during A2. There is not really customers here. We are backers in a testing phase. The vest majority did not expect to play all weekend anyways.

Same, I slept for 12h just to make sure I can grind out today to the fullest. Yet I only got to play for 3h and even that was lagged and bugged to all hell.

Do hope that this experience will let Intrepid be way more prepared for any potential repeat of it though.
