Fighter charge extra range bug
Frameen
Member, Alpha One, Alpha Two, Early Alpha Two
As a fighter, I was able to (while targeting an enemy) approach that enemy until my charge ability was within range, and the ability icon lit up like normal. BUT then when I backed up, to where I should have been well out of range, the ability was still lit up AND I was able to use it. After I used it, the charge did halt short of reaching the enemies hit box. However, I still did damage as if my character had closed the distance, which I hadn't.
There is a max range where this bug wont function anymore and the icon of the ability will go dark again. However, this is 2 - 3 times the normal range of the ability. You can imagine the cheese this could cause in PVP. I was able to reproduce this several times, though I admittedly could have done more testing if the servers were still up.
