    Alpha isn't what you are looking for.

    PTR - which you no doubt are familiar with from WoW - is a late stage beta test.

    An alpha test isn't going to scratch that itch.

    Alpha has the PTR client right now, but only A1 keyholders have access, so the OP is talking about getting that access.

    But they should not get it, because, STEVEN, I NEED THAT ACCESS INSTEAD! :)

    Ah, you mean that PTR is even more alphaey and properly test-like than what the normal A2 was? Yeah, that might be true.

    PTR runs for maybe 2~3 hours and everyone's doing very specific things, It's nice to help out but you're not missing out on much.

    Literally everyday I am praying that the PTR is up for a few hours to get my fix.

    I unironically installed lineage 2 for something similar to grind on off days.
