Crash when loading for the first time

ISSUE: I am not able to get past character creation.
Symptoms:
Issue is Repeatable (every time) when I create a character (tried all three races in case it was something to do with that, and created all different classes as well, and have tried 3 servers)

Steps to create issue: When character is created I click "play" the screen will load to a new white screen then show a load bar at the bottom right side of the screen. It will complete with 100 percent and a new load bar will generate. The second load bar will show 37-44% loaded and then break.

Other issue: Sound like a fire crackling will be in the background and it seems like it just stops and nothing further is shown.


Steps taken:
Clear up the space on HD: Current space on HD is 232 gigs free
-Resolution: moved most logs within the AOC\saved\logs into a different HD.

DirectX issue:
-Resolution: Downloaded the DirectX sound package as suggested in other posts

-File corruption:
-Resolution: Used the Repair Tool multiple times. (Nothing changes)
-Deleted full game and put on a different HD (Nothing Changes)

Driver issue:
Resolution: Downloaded latest drivers present for sound and Video.

I am not sure what else to do here, and would love some input as to where to go next for troubleshooting.
