What is your goal in AoC?

For me I want to join a low key guild and build up a node to village stage or so. Not too big.

I'll main a Holy Priest and enjoy gathering so that's how I would contribute.

Play support again. It's been too long. Bard brings me back to EQ1 days. So my goal is to find a group every time I log in. PvE, PvP I don't care.

Mine is kinda similar. I want to just immerse myself, live somewhere off the beaten path and have fun adventuring.

If the Religion system is good, becoming the High Priestess of something would be good (though now that I've seen the actual quotes and explanations of the Myriad, I'm less inclined, just not my thing overall so far). Unlikely, but the RP-basis of 'aiming for it' or whatever would lead to good stuff.

If the Economy is good towards great, absolutely to sit on a pile of currency the size of a house. That can just be my Freehold skin, a Dragonhoard sized pile of money to sleep on. Same deal here, the journey is probably a more reasonable intent, to avoid ending up like the many people who quit games due to not being the top.

If somehow the combat shifts closer to something I like, I enjoy doing scouting and logistics, and ofc the related Processing, to help out my Node and any more 'casual' players who are on their way 'through' to bigger/stronger guilds.

For me it is also simple.

I want to find a Place/Node in the World of Verra somewhere - someday. The North/ern and Skyrim-Fan inside me has one of the two awesome, coldest Biomes in my Sight - which are not yet in the Alpha Two.

I wish for Nodes to take a bit longer to get build. I wasn't even away from Lionhold when the Alpha Two started - before any Node was already a Village-Type/Stage 3.

I want for a Node take a full Day of People contributing it to reach Stage 2 from Stage 1.

And at least half a Week of People contributing to it to reach Village-Status. So that at least for a few Days - People have a Chance to see a Node still being a whole lotta Tents. >;-]

I also want to have the " Feeling " - that i actually truly contribute to my Node.

When You arrive somewhere, right now,
and all Nodes are already Stage Three -> and "locked" so they can not reach Stage Four right now,

it feels pretty empty and hollow to do anything. It "ALSO" feels pretty empty and hollow, that i understand about Five Percent of the whole Node at best.

I don't know anything about Merchants. Aside from that i can "sell" Stuff at one Guy -> and that there is a Black Market Lady who would buy stolen Caravan Goods from me.

I tried to spawn a Caravan once -> but i was promptly F~°PEEEP*ed over by a Disconnect and then i could not spawn a second Caravan at all. Welp, Alpha Two - i get it. "Alpha".

I wish i could " SEE " Node Progression somewhere. Apparently (??) we can see it (???) at that adorable, beautiful Tree with the round Design where something pretty, glowing is in the Middle. Like that huge One which is kinda a "Ruin/Remnant" of a Tree in the mighty Aela Starting Zone which lies in Ruins. But alive.

However - i can not open anything and get Oversight over nothing.

The Folks before the Temple ? USELESS !!!

The Temple/Church Building itself ?? LOCKED as just a Placeholder for what i hope will in the finished Game be an accessible Building we can interact with, for some Stuff.

i could at least join Winstead to become a Citizen

because i had that one Quest to join. But that was all.

I would like to be able to enter the "Guard-Towers" at the Walls/Palisade.

By "NOT" jumping up there in Parkour- and clipping-like Ways with my Hunter-Jump.

If i would fall into there -> i am locked inside the Inside of a Front. A Dummy for a Building.

i need "Unstuck" to get myself free again. ^.^

-> I would also love for the Mounts to be about as fast as the Bunnies from the Freehold Presentation or the likes. The Riverlands are still massive. And Yes i get it. It will perhaps - "HOPEFULLY" - happen in Phase Two.

I would love to "see" what i could do to get my Node Materials, Wood, Stone, etc. -> to improve "WHAT".

To improve Houses ?
To be able to get/unlock Furniture ?
For me ?
For others ?

Maybe so that "MY" Node mimicks/looks more like the dominant Infrastructure/Culture or my selected Race my Character is part of ?

Some People say the Game will " NEVER " be the awesome, Fun thing that Sir Steven invisions in his monthly Live-Stream Presentations.

I DISAGREE WITH THEM.

I am aware the Game needs easily more than 2 Years still or so. And i mean from the Start of Phase Three onwards.

But i refuse to believe - that dear Sir Steven and Intrepid will end/release it half-assed. There is Room for SO. MUCH. MORE. what we can test right now.

The other Phases can not come fast enough.

I want to see other Clients. French. German. Spanish. And whatever else.

I want to be able to interact more with my Nodes. May i be in a Guild, or alone.

I want to have more Oversight.
I also hope for better U.I. Windows/Menus.

I want to find out what exactly it would bring me, to process raw Wood and Stone into processed Versions.

I have not even found out if i can fish in the Game or not.

An awesome, german Ashes of Creation YouTuber named " Gerni " took me on a Journey recently and i was on his Raft he made from his Caravan. It was awesome.

Right now,

i - NEED - other Players. I can not endure the Hour-long grinds of genociding Monster Populations alone.
