Wolves trained may have tooltip/display strings swapped?

I tamed a wolf this past weekend and before I claimed it, it appeared to be a beast of burden. A guildie had the opposite, his (three in a row) tooltip-indicated "beasts" appeared to be a mount before picking them up.

I can confirm: I trained one wolf, in the tooltip before pickup it said it was a Beast of Burden. In my inventory, i clicked it and found myself riding a 140% wolf mount. Once in inventory, the tooltip/description is consistent with the item's behavior.
