Black screen on Game Launch using Launcher FIXED!!!

I had an issue where my power went out and the it closed the game. Even after uninstalling/reinstalling the game, running repair clearing cache options on launcher nothing worked to let me boot the game. It was going to a black screen after using the launcher to launch the game. I found a fix for this after working on it a long time. If you are having the same issue what worked for me was deleting the entire %localappdata% for AOC. It is located here;
C:\Users\(yourusername)AppData\Local\AOC

    This fixed what sounds like a similar (if not the same) issue that I was experiencing. Thank you for sharing. :D

    First time last night for me my PC hard shutdown whilst playing Ashes. Had 2 or 3 unreal engine crashes since A2 went live but never this.

    Was just playing normally, chopping down some trees, then it just black screened and wouldn't reboot for a minute or two. Think this might be worth doing to prevent that happening again?

    I've been replying this fix to people in discord for a bit now. You really only need to delete the generalsettings.sav file.. this way you can retain all your other settings..

    Here is my post from discord

    deleting this folder should fix it, it will reset all your preferences in game though and keybinds.

    C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AOC\Saved\SavedGames\

    This has fixed it for a lot of people that have your issue. There is another method that can save your settings below

    i "think" you can just get rid of this file which is the culprit and keep the rest of your settings and ui. if deleting that file alone doesnt fix it delete the whole folder.

    "C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\AOC\Saved\SaveGames\GeneralSettings.sav"

    Note: you may need to enable "View hidden items" to see the "appdata" folder

    Below are links to two posts with some screenshots to help. If I remember I'll repost it here with a bit better formatting.
