2nd archetype in phase 3

So just a question I'm trying to get confirmation on.
Are we getting 2nd archetypes for Cleric and Tank in phase 3? Eg tank/bard etc

Or are we getting the cleric and tank as our choices for all classes 2nd archetypes? Eg bard/tank etc

Secondary class choice won't be happening till all base classes are in the game and base play style is tested. Once that's nailed down we will see them added.

I think it's going to be tank and cleric as secondaries

I also suspect it will be the latter, a tank and cleric 2ndary archetype option for all the (by then fully implemented base 8 archetypes). So everyone will have the ability to test them.

If they don't do that then the servers populations will skew to 90% of players rolling a Tank or Cleric primary so they can 'test' the new secondary options. And this imbalance is likely to skew testing very badly due to the lack of DPS primary classes.

That's perfect, I assumed it would be easier to make 2 Secondary Archetypes for all classes over all classes just for tank and cleric.. this is good. But the magic words "everything is subject to change" and I'm ok with that too!

I'd also like to add that in EITHER case were guaranteed to have Tank/Tank, Cleric/Cleric, Cleric/Tank and Tank/Cleric. Or Guardian, High Priest, Paladin, Apolstle to play with.

My main concern is that the Dual classes need to not be unambigously 'Best' type of Tank and Healer so that the other secondary options are viable. The way to do that is to give them a narrower emphasis on certain aspects of the base archetypes rather then across the board boosts.

Fore example a High Priest could be best at removing negative status effects which cause damage (of which their are a LOT). This would make it a strong healer against typical combo play, DoT's etc, but less effective vs another Cleric variant against raw burst damage. And a Guardian could be maybe best at pushing into enemy lines battering Ram like but less effective then say an Ardent (Tank/Bard) at taunting.

So that is a Yes to Phase Three then.

Because the Archetype of humble me myself -> the Summoner -> comes at May 1st in the earliest and that is the Start and Beginning of Phase Three - is it not ?

Meaning jepp. Dear Intrepid is indeed still like half a Year on balancing Classes and Nodes and Races and so on, before completing the Classes for realsies with the secondary Archetype.
