Cannot Sell Commodities - "There was an issue selling your items"

I cannot sell commodities to any vendor, this previously worked fine. Its game breaking for me as I cant get gold...

To update this is still ongoing. Its been several days, so logging out or closing the game does not fix it.

I have done all the workarounds, moved the cargo around in storage, loaded/unloaded cart, tried multiple towns.....

Update, destroyed the cart and somehow that fixed it.... kinda extreme solution but after cart was destroyed I could sell the commodities......

Thank you I want to try this when it comes up. I had the same issue after doing the quest for caravans.
