White screen after hit with ability

Howdy,
me and my gal where killing ashen flame stomweaver, we where hit by one of its attacks (not sure what one) and our screen with white. we could see our UI and each other names (not our own), mob names, and marks, however all environment and characters where white, like just a white screen. - relogging fix this issue
